Novo Nordisk, is one of the worlds largest pharmaceutical companies, with a long history of treating diabetes care. Headquartered in Denmark, Novo Nordisk also holds leading positions in hemophilia care, growth hormone therapy, and hormone replacement therapy.
Managing decision-making processes and scheduling meetings for a large group of executives presents significant challenges. With various constraints and stakeholders, generating an executive meeting calendar is complex and time-consuming. Additionally, presenting this in a dynamic format that facilitates planning, re-planning, conflict resolution and effective time management, adds another layer of complexity. The goal was to design a tool that can automatically generate a proposed meeting plan, taking into account over 100 executive calendars, and create an interface that allows different stakeholders to interact with and modify the calendar as needed.
Utilizing Streamlit, we developed a highly customizable Proof of Concept with limited resources. Streamlit provided the flexibility to implement unique logic tailored to the client’s constraints. The final application generated an initial meeting plan with minimal calendar conflicts. In cases of conflicts, the application suggested alternative allocations, allowing stakeholders to adjust and regenerate the meeting plan based on user input.
